08/24/09Truly -- this is a pink rose from a 1950's crocheted toilet seat cover.
Can't you just picture the pink poodle skirt worn by the woman who crocheted it?
The faceted jade crystals bring it into the "now."
But the nostalgia of the rose keeps it awesomely "then."
