Antique reversed carved, handpainted glass.
Wasn't drilled for mounting.
Wasn't sealed -- unprotected back fully exposed.
Paint was badly cracking, peeling and chipping.
It was pitiful . . .
And completely beautiful.
Lovingly restored.
